Suzie Picou-Oldham is a lifelong industry professional as a winning jockey, owner and breeder from a family of multiple jockeys and trainers. Suzie was one of the early women riders of the mid-70's. Her father, husband, daughter and uncle were jockeys. She and husband, Johnny were the first married couple to compete against each other as jockeys in a recognized Thoroughbred race.

She began her post riding career in advertising and as a photographer for North American racing publications nationally and abroad, then a stallions season sales and marketing agent at commercial stud farms for 15 years. Suzie has been the Director of Inspections at the Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance since 2016, supporting retired and off-track Thoroughbreds.

Suzie has be a proud JOCKEYS & JEANS committee member since 2015. She brings in silent and live auction items and helps organize the annual event to benefit PDJF. She is also a member of The Thorobreds, a Thoroughbred women's club.
